First off, let me tell you that we are thrilled with your product! My daughter was first diagnosed with Severs disease last Spring while playing both soccer and lacrosse. After a few weeks of rest, the pain did subside slightly, but she continued to play as she is very active, and did not want to give up her sports, especially knowing that her team was going to compete for the state title. By the end of the season, (and winning the state title) she could barely walk. She was put in an aircast, had to take the entire summer off, and went thru weeks of physical therapy. When the Fall season started, she was still in tremendous pain and unable to participate in sports. The Dr’s were telling her that she would need to take the season off, possibly the winter as well. She was heartbroken. Out of desperation, I turned to the internet to do my own research and came across your web-site. Let me tell you that I am extremely cynical, I figured at this point, I had already spent so much on Physical therapy, Doctors, orthotics etc., why not spend another $30 or so. I took the bottle to her PCP to make sure there wasn’t anything in there that would cause harm, and we decided to give it a try. True to your information, after 5 days, she saw improvement and was able to play in her soccer game for 1/4 the game. After 2 weeks, we saw a HUGE improvement and she was back to playing and practicing 70%. After one month she is back to her normal self! Fully able to participate and back to running full speed without any limp or gait! We cannot thank you enough for giving our daughter back her life. For any parent that has an active child you know how much of a blow it is when your child is told they may have to take a season or two off. I have recommended your product to several people, and will continue to do so. Thank you Thank you!! By the way, I read all the testimonials on your site, but, really decided to give it a try when I saw testimonials about your product on many other sports boards!
I do have a question regarding Oscon. Now that my daughter has completed the 30 days, and is feeling great, she is taking one pill a day. How long should she be taking the one pill and what is the course of action should she have a re-lapse?

My 11 yr old daughter has been taking Oscon for about 2 or 3 wks and the results are AMAZING! She is able to all the physical activities she enjoys (softball catcher and jazz & modern dance) with no pain, whereas before she would complain of knee pain and have to be iced. Thank you so very much.

Hi Gary, I am not currently in pain but the bump is there and I thought I might just take one a day for bottle for insurance. It worked great about a year ago. I am 59 and this stuff works pretty good. Thanks for the product.

My son was diagnosed with both Osgood-Schlatter and Van Larsen disorders in his right knee and also has it in his left knee. At first we visited the physio for 4 sessions and there was no improvement so I asked for the next step and the other opinion. In the meantime we were waiting for the orthopedic appointment that was booked in next 2 months. So then we visited the sport medical doctor who actually diagnosed my son with disorders. According to him there was no medication to help just rest and take his sport activities easy for the whole year. It was quite hard for us as our son is playing in the premier soccer league and he is quite active at school teams. He turned 11 in March this year. This doctor wrote the names of disorders and told me to look up on the internet and whatever I do from there is my decision. So I did and order your kit. My son rated his pain 8 out of 10 at the beginning. It took him 2.5 weeks to reduce the pain to 5.5. But then after 3-4 days the pain completely disappeared. He continued one tablet a day for few more days just in case the pain came back but it did not and he stopped taking tablets. 10 days ago we finally got to go to see the orthopedic who confirmed disorders and told us there is no medication for it. I just kept quite. By that time pain was gone and I thought why there was no medical research/recognition/approval for Oscon where there are so many young kids that are suffering so much.
Thank you so much. My son used the strap all the time. Now he does not need it but we still keep it. The hot/cold strap is very convenient and we still use it.
Another feedback for you is I’d like to see more testimonials from 2009 and 2010 as it makes your success story more up to date.

Hi Gary I just thought I would let you know how my son is getting on well something must be working, it is as you said he improved in the first week and more in the second week and now week three his severs is probably about a 0.5 to 1 out of 10 compared to three weeks ago limping and about a 9 or 10 out of 10.The tablets, heel inserts, ice and rest he is back at soccer training and has played a trial game and yesterday ran cross country at school. I was worried he may have to give soccer he was pretty heart broken and so was I for him as there is no hope going to the Doctors that was a wast of time.
I am just about to go back to your website and order some more tablets so thank you for all your return emails and thank you for having this product Brenda.
My son came home from soccer training on Monday night and he said he heard a boy tell his dad that his heel hurts and he also came home tonight (Wednesday) and and another boy came of training with his heel hurting I asked my son did he tell him what he may have and he said no because he wants that boys position on the field.
This must be very common at about this age of 13.

Thanks! We did use Oscon (and the strap but it has been misplaced) about 1 ½ years ago. It did the trick even though our daughter was competing in gymnastics at the time. She was able to continue to work out and still get better. Another growth spurt and continued gymnastics is probably what has now caused the symptoms to return (she’s almost 13).

The supplement started helping my son after about a week. He is almost finished with the first bottle. Next week his middle school baseball starts up again. We hope to see him running and having a great time, rather than watching him limp and trying to skip to make it through a game. I will be ordering another bottle this week.

Thank you Gary. This will be my son’s second bottle of Oscon. He has been taking it for about 20 days and is seeing a lot of improvement in the pain in his knees. He wears the knee straps when he plays baseball and that seems to help. His right heel is still sore so we decided to do the 2nd month of Oscon and use the heel pads.

Hi. My 12 year old daughter has finished her bottle of Oscon, pain all gone and she is back to athletics again. Running only, no jumping yet as she is scared to do long jump in case pain returns. So it certainly has been a miracle cure for her but should I buy more and let her continue to take the Oscon even though she has no pain as we are worried it will return again? Ans: 1/day is the preventative dose of Oscon. 2/day is the therapeutic dose. If the pain is gone, she may not need any more.

Hi Gary.
We have used your product before, approx 2 yrs ago. The results were incredible. My son runs Track and Field and plays Football, so he,s very active. He is 12 1/2. Grew 2 shoes sizes within the past 8 months. We have put lots of our track runners, and some soccer players onto Oscon, and the results have been very positive.
I am having my son ice 3 times a day, and to stretch, he has severs. I would appreciate any other advice you could offer. Thank you,

My son Duncan plays competitive soccer above his age group. He experienced severs disease last spring/summer. We originally thought it was his soccer shoes. We changed brands and it subsided but did not go away. We added heal pads. Next, we got an incorrect diagnosis from one physician before a correct diagnosis from a second visit to a different doctor. We researched online and found Oscon, willing to try about anything. A one month dose was all it took for Duncan’s pain to go away. Actually it left him in the first 10 days just as you stated. We continued to play without pain through the season. This spring has been stop and go with the weather as we have had an unusual wet winter and spring. We have been unable to return to a high level of play and due to the weather, his training is mercurial. I am sure the lack of exercise followed by heavy stress when we do get to train is not helping. The pain in his left heel has returned and is not subsiding. This morning I ordered another month’s supply. Hopefully, this will be the last but if not, we will be back.

He is almost 11 years old. He had Severs and Osgood issues and Plantar Fasciitis issues.
Now he is having Osgood issues again (Knee pain in both knees)
Lots of intense Basketball this winter.

Well, Gary, I wanted to let you know what has gone on with my daughter. My 14 year old daughter has had knee pain off and on since she was 9 years old. The last few weeks have been especially bad. She has complained of knee pain EVERY time she played softball or did cheerleading and tumbling. She has had to sit out of softball games and limit the amount of cheerleading and tumbling because of the pain. She would immediately come home and ice her knee, complaining about how much it hurt… to the point of tears. She cried on the way home from practice one night saying she felt like an 80 year old woman. She and I were VERY worried about cheerleading tryouts this week. Enter OSCON. I searched online for anything that could help her. After I read all of the testimonials about OSCON, I immediately ordered it. She began taking the pills last Saturday. Yesterday she had cheerleading tryout practice. After practicing for over 4 hours, I asked her how her knee felt. (I am tearing up as I type this!) Hi, Just wanted to let you know! I purchased OSCON for my son Robert who was experiencing severe knee pain. After a cricket practice he would be in such agony that he could not walk up the stairs to have a shower. After 4 days the lump under his knee cap was less painful to the touch and after 3 weeks he is completely PAIN FREE! Thank you, your product is amazing! PS: Any chance of getting a distributor in South Africa? We are really ripped off here with import tax – I ended up paying double?

Gary, My son is an 8th grader and has Played football, basketball and baseball since he was old enough. Last year he started having problems with both his knees. Doctors told us the usual,”give him ibuprophen and ice them”. It never worked. 2-3 months ago, my husband and I did our own research and found you! We bought knee strapes and Oscon and with in a week, my son could feel the difference. My son can now run into the gym rather then limp. His coaches have noticed that he has his speed back and is looking like his old self on the court. We would like to thank you for your product. My son has his life back just in time for High School!

Thank you for your email and my daughter cannot wait for the arrival of Oscon. She was diagnosed with OSD last year and was told to rest for six weeks with no sport activities at all. My daughter was nine when this happened; she is a dedicated free ice skater and also a ballet dancer. She was very upset when she was told that she might be able to skate or dance because of the severe knee pain she was so upset until I found Oscon. At first I thought how can this be possible when in the UK doctors cannot prescribes anything for OSD and also I wasn’t quite sure about buying medicine abroad and no the internet. After reading all the cases I decided to order one bottle for my daughter to try and after a few days my daughter hardly felt any pain in the knee and she could skate and do jumps and spin on ice and resume her ballet again. She was so happy with Oscon that I didn’t even needed to remind her to take them twice a day. She was nine years old then and for seven months her skating and ballet were resume to normal until now on February 3rd 2010 during ice skating training she suddenly couldn’t bend her knee and she was in extreme pain in the same knee area as last year. She is about to compete at high level skating but this OSD is back again. Hence I have order to bottles this time. You said that recurrence is rare but can happen, after taken this two bottle of Oscon it would be my daughter second time, do you think this problem could come back the third time. Ans: That is possible on very rare occasions.
Also can her body might be used to Oscon that after so many times the knee might not response to Oscon anymore and the pain will always be there. Ans: No. Also are there any come back side effects later ie. like when she is older. Ans: There are no side effects at all.

Thanks Gary….we had about a half bottle left from the first round months ago…it is an amazing product…we will do a loading dose for 3 days then 2 per day for a month as before. Like clockwork within 10 days she was playing tennis as before. There are about 80 kids in their tennis program….last night she was delighted to win the most improved female award. Using Oscon was the key to allow her to train….we were shocked when 3 weeks ago she heard a popping noise in her knee and went down. the insertion point swelled up and I have held her out for 3 weeks now until it is cold with only moderate pain when pressed…this time we will keep the knee straps on for the rest of the year to help…and of course keep the Oscon going. do you ever sell the product in just liquid form? Ans: The center of the capsule is in liquid form and can be mixed with food or viscous liquid!

Dear Mr. Nelson, I just ordered our second bottle of Oscon. I am very pleased with the results so far! My daughter no longer limps down the stairs, and best of all, has successfully competed in her first gymnastics competition! While I don’t allow her to do the vault (the bounce on the springboard is too jarring), she’s been able to continue in the sport she loves. She also wears the brace I bought – she’s dedicated! We still live with the thinking that her gymnastics days may be limited, we are grateful for the opportunity to continue this season!! Here’s the thing – my daughter has ALWAYS been small. She was on the 3rd percentile curve for height forever. We saw specialists about it. So for her to have a growth issue in this way? Bones growing faster than her tendons? Amazing. When I took her to the doctor she asked if she was normal yet – very funny! Truth is she’s now on the 25% curve! So, yes, she’s having growth issues – imagine that! I would have expected it from my sons! Our doctor was excited about our trying the Oscon & brace treatment. I left your pamphlet with her. I look forward to giving her an update!
